FAQ

Can I use my charter funds?

We accept virtual homeschool charter funds which can cover all or some of our two day program fees. If you would like us to become an approved vendor for your charter, please contact us at enrollfsa@gmail.com and request your charter.

We are currently an enrichment vendor for Excel Academy, Scale Leadership Academy, and Suncoast Preparatory Academy. If you are interested in attaining more information about these charters please contact us, so we may connect you with a representative.

*By law, charter funds can only be used for fully non-sectarian courses and curriculum. All courses offered by FSA are fully non-sectarian.

What if I am not enrolled into a virtual charter?

Families who do not use instructional funds have the option of establishing a payment plan. To find information about filing a PSA, please visit The Homeschool Association of California’s website here.

What is Procare?

Procare is our Program Management System. It’s an app FSA will use to manage most communications, student and parent information, all course information, documents, student updates, tuition processing, and check-in/check-out functions. Upon registration in the FSA program, the parent will receive an invitation to log into their account to sign up with the system. Please do not share your personalized invitation code. If another parent/guardian is listed during enrollment he/she will receive a separate personalized invitation code to sign up. This is essential to the success of every student since most communication will be processed through the Procare management system and it is the students and parents responsibility to check it weekly.

Purchase Order FAQ

1. What months do I request my PO for?

In the beginning of every month your student is enrolled with FSA you will submit an order request with your virtual charter no later than the 8th. For example, if your student begins the FSA program in September you will submit your order request with your charter on the 8th of September for that month. If FSA does not receive your student’s voucher after the deadline you will be invoiced for the that month and the account on file will be charged the monthly program fee, plus a merchant service fee by the 25th.

2. How do I fill out my P.O. for the FSA program?

Every charter school is different on the requesting end. Some parents input it themselves online, some send an email to their educational coordinator, some have to fill out a form to send in, some need the monthly pricing broken down by line item, some do not. The list goes on. What we will do is send you an invoice once you have registered for classes and you can use that as a reference to request your PO according to your charter’s process.

3. What are the curriculum fees I need to request for my PO?

Your registration fee covers the curriculum and materials cost. This fee cannot be paid using instructional funds, you are obligated to pay the registration fee out of pocket after you have submitted your enrollment to FSA.
